About This Author
My name is Joy, and I love to write. Why poetry, here? Because poetry uplifts its writer, and if she is lucky enough, her readers, too. Around us, so many objects abound to write about. Once a poet starts with a smallest, most trivial object, he shall discover that his pen will spill out what is most delicate or most majestic hidden inside him. Since the classics sometimes dealt with lofty subjects with a lofty language, a person with poetry in his soul may incline to emulate that. That is understandable. Poetry does that to a person: it enlarges the soul and gives it wings. Yet, to really soar, a poet needs to take off from the ground. Kiya's gift. I love it!

"She Said..." is a nicely written poem by our honourable senior moderator and poet Joy. This is one of the best poems ever I read. Though subject of the poem is not very easy one but due to artistic and efficient writing style, the readability of this poem becomes awesome.
The efficiency level starts from his Title. This title increases our inquisitiveness. What did she say? The title creates the suspense.
She confirmed that she did not not know him. But that man know that this is not true at all. Because his heart is listening her voice since a long ago. So, her voice is very much known to him. The poet uses some shambolic words very appropriately. One is 'caverns' and other is 'sun'. Actually, she lives inside his heart. Here, the heart is compared with cave where as the word sun indicates bright secred light. At the end, we able to know that the lady is her mother. So, the bright light is nothing but her affection which is known that as most secred thing in our material world.
This is wonderfully written. Write on.
