Greetings, queenkissy! I am reviewing this because I am part of "I Write in 2020Open in new Window. and your entry was posted previous to mine. *Smile*

*Quill* First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest.

Did the prompt interest me? Yes! I'm always interested in how others use prompted words and you've managed this one flawlessly. Your use of the word visage fits nicely, not forced at all. Not always an easy fete in a twenty-four syllable limit. Plus it made perfect sense!

Did the words flow naturally?
Your words flowed beautifully. There were no bumpy areas at all.

How did the writing make m feel? Can I relate to this? I can certainly connect to this as I'm sure most people will agree. How often do we hide our feelings, pretending we are untouched, happy, without troubles? Some people wear their feelings on their sleeves, while others are able to fool people into thinking all is well.

Is there anything I would change within the writing? Not a thing!

What did I like most?
hides grief, masks pain,
veils rage

Though this line is the real clencher... Dare you look closer?

Great work! And best of luck in the contest!

Have a great day and...*Quill*
