I really hope that was fiction but it read like a true story. Either way, Ole Mellonhead and anyone like her ought never be in charge of young (or any) children. The shame. But you (or your character) didn't let her get you down. Well done!


I laughed at your reason for being disqualified to run for President. Though it's actually sad... sigh. In the context you put it in, it was funny. Well done!


I loved your conclusion. Again, whether true or not, it's a great punchline and end to your story. Well done!


I don't know what most children are told nowadays either. Thankfully, I know that my nephews (all boys in their generation) are encouraged to pursue their dreams (and gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to do so).
