I loved your "China Hutch and Fun Words" blog post so much. It was full of loveliness, had a "Downton Abbey" reference, and was a beautiful tribute to your Mom and your use of some of her things that were precious to her and now enrich your life.
It rained here today too, and is expected tomorrow as well. Wild that we have similar weather.
I wondered what color the roses were on your Mom's china plates? If it's pink or similar, then the pink font you used is a lovely match.
