Hello, Viv, aka VPBanjo!
INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:
I enjoyed visiting your "We Want Peace Contest" every time I went to it, including today.
Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end the first time.
This is a wonderful idea for your new contest!
MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:
Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I visited and read this "We Want Peace Contest" of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "June" file. ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. It is meant to be honest and respectful, and in accordance with WDC guidelines.
I found your "We Want Peace Contest" in the news feed. Those plugs really do work, and reminders help, so I'm glad you posted several times. I pray for peace every day, so your title drew me in. I clicked and checked out your new contest page, and enjoyed it greatly, so I decided to give you a review as a little anniversary gift. Happiest anniversary wishes to you and best wishes on your writing future too!
I loved that you allow both poetry and short story entries to your "We Want Peace Contest." I suspect that will encourage a wider group of writers to participate, because some of us like writing poetry more, and some of us like writing stories more.
I thought it was wonderful that your "We Want Peace Contest" has already been featured in a news letter.
Your prizes are generous and desirable, and hopefully will attract more entries and get more people thinking about and writing about peace.
Your use of images added color and interest to the page. I particularly liked the thumbnail image. I don't think I'd seen that one before, so it is unique, but clear in its meaning, and colorful, interesting and generally appealing.
I thought you did a great job in creating this new "We Want Peace Contest" and am glad you did.
I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "We Want Peace Contest."
I appreciated that you opened for sign ups early so people could run with the energy a new contest brings.
I thought your rules were clear and easy to understand and follow.
IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done!
As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.
CONCLUSION:
I enjoyed revisiting your "We Want Peace Contest" tonight, and empathized with your sentiments that you expressed in it, and appreciated the overall idea of it.
Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart for peace, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!
Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!
May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance, during your anniversary month, and always!
