Boring, when there's nothing to do,. and nothing is going on. Funny thing is, you've mentioned having issues with AI stories. Some folks don't like them. Me - I find them to be a way to kill 20 minutes to an hour, especially if walking, mowing, or doing some other mind-numbing task. Some dramas hook you with a plausible realistic hook, and even though you'll figure it's fiction within five minutes, you'll still listen for the twenty or so minutes it plays. Personally, I prefer sci-fi stories. Some are very good.
