A song came to my mind as I read this. "Moments" by Emerson Drive. In it, a man wanting to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge, finds himself followed by a beggar. The beggar looks at him, and talks about how he wasn't always a beggar, how he had folks he cared for, and lost them. The man realizes that if the beggar could live through such difficult times, so could he, and this gives the man a second chance at life. Every moment we have is a second chance in some manner. So, live every moment to the fullest. After all, at some point, they will end. Don't leave behind regrets.
