*PenB* First Impressions:

I saw you posted this in the newsfeed and I fancied a quick game before bedtime, but this wasn't as easy as I thought it would be! *Laugh* Some words jumped out at me straight away, but it took me a while to find all of them. I found 'Witch' before I started looking for 'Wicked Witch' and they actually used the same last five letters. I don't think I've ever seen that before, but I couldn't figure it out for ages.

I liked the words you chose for this puzzle. It was a good mix of general 'spooky' words and more specific ones like a couple of authors and book titles. It worked well that you varied the length as well, which makes it more interesting.

*PenG* Suggestions:

I noticed this before in other word searches - special characters like apostrophes can't be processed properly, so 'Jack O'Lantern' became JACKO39LANTERN. I'm not complaining (it made it very easy to find as those were the only numbers!) but it might be a good idea to do away with proper grammar just once and omit the apostrophes. I know, it doesn't sit well with me either, but the only other option would be to choose words without apostrophes, which would be a shame because this is a good one.

*PenP* Final Thoughts:

Halloween is a fun time of year and you captured the spirit of it very well in this word search. It also brought back some memories of books I haven't read in years that would be the perfect read right now, like The Shining. I enjoyed the game!
