I have to chuckle at the word - enshitification - how often does one get a chance to get away with saying such a phrase? Sounds like one gets covered in manure upon saying it. That being said, sadly, it does seem like the internet is getting filled with - what's a polite word to use - garbage, of one sort or another. The trick is sorting out the treasure from the trash. Once one knows how to do that, things get easier.
