*Note1* My review is based on professional editing points. It is meant to be honest, encouraging, and respectful in accordance with WDC guidelines.

*Reading* THE POEM

The poem was about finding Joy in a world that is emotionally complex.

*Idea* WHAT I LIKED

I liked how the poem was written by two people with two very distinctive styles of writing. Each stanza almost built on the other.

*Star* STRUCTURE

This is a free form poem with no apparent rythme scheme.

*Star* MECHANICS

I did not spot any spelling/punctuation mistakes. Good use of WDC ML and italics to set off the different poets.

*Star* DESCRIPTIONS

I liked: "I open my hands, my heart, my mind, my soul
Letting love's light through at long last,"
I found this to be an emotionally raw statement, but it's one that people who have been through a certain amount of pain can identify with. Well done tapping into poignant and endearing emotions.

*Star* PARTING THOUGHTS/SUGGESTIONS

The opening has a nice, easy invitation to read which draws the reader in. The title is an intriguing fit for the poem and once read, the reader understands why the title was selected. I enjoyed the progression of the poem and heartfelt emotional sentiments.
