Ah, bobcats, distant kin to the common house cat - by a few million years. I can't say that I've seen one in the wild where I live, despite living in an area within their native range. Then again, there are plenty of hunters and the like, so maybe they just stay hidden from humans, which might keep them safer than other predators. Needless to say, never had one sneak into my home, to the best of my knowledge.
