I am an amateur writer of novels, serials, and novellas. Most of my work is in the genres of fantasy, mythology, drama, occult, GLBT, and erotica.

As I'm not seeking publication, I offer my work online for free reading. I'm not seeking stylistic critique so much as feedback from people who just like reading what I write. I love hearing what people think of my characters, plots, themes, etc., so if you have any comments or advice on those, feel free to share. I'm not hugely popular and often go many months without hearing from readers so I enjoy all the comments I get!

Untitled Tentative Blog-Type Thing

Please note that everything in here is just my opinion, neither right nor wrong--occasionally ignorant, more often made after much thought--so trying to argue my opinion's rightness or wrongness through blog comments is kind of pointless (especially since I probably won't change my mind).

In other words, I wouldn't step into your parlor and criticize your choice of wallpaper, no matter how much it might clash with the drapes, so please show the same respect here.

I have a journal. But I haven't felt like personal journaling in a long while. When you're perpetually anxious and depressed, there's little point in continually putting that out there for the world to see.

So I'm going to try something a little lighter and see what happens. *shrug*

This can be deleted or made private at any time, I suppose.

If I don't reply to a comment, it's nothing personal, I'm just terribly shy. Even online.

We just cleaned our garage after the local flooding and I found a rats nest, the remains of an unidentified animal, and a hidden chicken's nest with about a dozen rotten eggs (by far, the worst of the three).

Sound like MI is getting more and more crowded by your account. Good thing I suppose - more revenue for the Island which means it will continue to stay open and maintained. Bad thing is more fudgies and litter.

Googled up the amount of water we're meant to be drinking on a hot day:

Loved your description of Winnebago trail. If one day I do visit MI, I'll be sure to look out for this area.

Interesting to hear about the Ocryx and the haunted theatre. Naturally, I googled Ocryx in Google Images, and saw this fierce looking horned beastie. This is actually the first time I've read one of your MI entries - I've seen some of the pictures in your DA port before but haven't actually read a direct entry of yourself in MI aside from your MI inspired story chain.

Being a person who really enjoys listening to what other people are listening (especially of artists I haven't heard of before), I You tubed up two of the songs that you mentioned - Nolitus and Selisona. Nolitus Pi is pure win. Nolitus is even more win - flutes and a floaty kind of voice just does it for me. Also, that underlying theme of both these songs (around 0:34 on Nolitus Pi)- sort of like a up and up kind of thing - is good. Not to say that I didn't like Selisona - loved it too.

Yes, it just might simply be a compulsion - but What is life if nothing but a series of compulsions of doing the things that you like to do and have to do? The compulsion to explore. The compulsion to feed the birds and watch them in the mornings. The compulsion to trust people even though you have been burned many times in the past.

We've never met in real life. Why do I take the trouble to reply to your entries? Compulsion, with the inspiration from one of your stories.

Sigh - I don't really know what to make of it. If I remember correctly, some of the side-effects listed here were already pre-existing conditions prior to you taking Lexapro. I just pray that P has been doing a careful and methodical follow up and assessment for each treatment she administers.

I certainly hope that your situation isn't serious enough to warrant going to hospital. Brrrr - I was once sent to hospital for treatment of some Pneumonia. For a few days I was pretty much stuck in this ward room. The absolute boredem was bad enough. What was worse was that I was in a ward full of people who would just hack and cough late into the night. At the end of the three days, I was practically begging my Doc to discharge me ASAP, even though I hadn't fully recovered.

Still, you know your body best and indeed, I hope that P and the Urologist do as well (and exercise professionalism and due diligence)

Today's the 14th now - I hope the transport went okay, and indeed, hope that you have heard at least good news or at the very least, some resolution.

Incidentally, I tried looking for some Lovecraft books in a couple of libraries but there were none. The online catalogue indicated that they do exist but mysteriously, the books were not on their shelf. I'll keep an eye open for them on my next visit. Lol - reading about your enthusiasm for LC has made me inclined to at least try out one of his books and see how it goes.

Regarding your increasing power bill, perhaps take your own meter readings and see how your figures compare. Maybe they are indeed overcharging - definitely not uncommon.

Hmm, interesting to hear accounts from the forum of Elmiron taking a long time to work. I suppose the call now is to whether to keep at the instils or seek another solution. WHile you have been on Elmiron for some time now, I understand that the instils are a more recent thing, with oral intake being your previous primary method of treatment? I also recall in a previous blog entry that you mentioned that only a relatively small percentage of Elmiron taken orally reaches the bladder as opposed to the instils.

If thats the case , perhaps staying on the instils is the way to go for the time being. I suppose the question to ask here is, is it getting worse? The eternal optimist in me says "If its not getting worse, it must be getting better."

Regardless, I wish you the best luck in picking the next step of your treatment.

Good to hear that P's clinic has organised some transport arrangements for you. Indeed, it has its own sets of complications as you mentioned, but the big plus is that your appointment times are now more flexible AND you don't have to bother Mum anymore.

Don't worry too much about inconveniencing the Case Manager dude - he gets paid to do this kind of thing.

And between you and me (and any blog reader), if I had to choose between bothering someone else and Mum, I'd pick bothering the someone else in a heartbeat! Ok, maybe not ALL the time but I make my point.

I did a brief google on Lexapro sideffects and yep, there are indeed some. For convenience, this is an extract of what I found (http://www.drugs.com/sfx/lexapro-side-effects.html):

"Constipation; decreased sexual desire or ability; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; increased sweating; lightheadedness when you stand or sit up; loss of appetite; nausea; stomach upset; tiredness; trouble sleeping."

Those were the so-called common side effects. The more severe side effects (of which the doctor should be notified about) include:

The appointment I just got cancelled on me without notice and then rescheduled has again been cancelled and rescheduled already, to February. Almost 7 weeks since I last saw her.

I don't see the point in this anymore. I'm not meant to talk to anybody.
