The Diagnosis

Cancer has once again taken its toll.
The numbers are high.
Why is it when you have life on a roll?
You have to say good-by?
Your weight drops off so fast.
Your stamina is just not there..
Your good health doesn't last.
Cancer has taken it, somewhere.
Why do I choose to write?
On a disease which is bad.
I wish with all my might.
The diagnosis hadn't been right.
