	 Birthday Island Rondeau form:

Early the next morning, I washed ashore
Greeted by bright sunlight and sand galore;
I have a bag, saved from the sinking ship
Alas, it's only filled with party equip --
          Oh, how I swore!

Nothing of use, it was all just décor
Now I was desperate, even more than before;
Had God just handed me an eternal pink slip?
          I washed ashore

Could I survive for a few days or more?
Maybe I'll be rescued by the friendly Peace Corps;
Please God, help me make this a round trip
Or send some supplies that aren't such a gyp
This is a dire situation, I feel I must underscore
          I washed ashore.
