The Smile That I Hold

One smile I cling to, a beacon at night,
Utopian dreams in the eyes of a child.
Nourishing hope on its easterly flight
Embracing reunions of spirits more mild
The flourishing fruit of a garden restyled.
Exempt from despair and forever consoled
I sleep in the arms of the smile that I hold.
