Teaching Angels Teaching Angels
Rude and forbidding
is the earthly surrounding.
Angels wondered at His plan
to redeem the fallen man.
How would the people of God
receive the Son of God?
The light of prophecy is shown,
the angels have made it known.
With amazement the heavenly messengers beheld
the glad tidings that God's people withheld.
Their interest is deeper and more tender,
while learning what God's grace can render.
