About This Author
Guten tag! My name is Jessica and I'm 19 years old. I obviously love to write; I have been writing since I was six years old, but I became an avid writer in sixth grade. I also love listening to music and studying history. I am obsessed with Civil War, World War II, Russian, Romanov, German, and Norweigan history. I listen to mostly metal, some country, and grunge.
Compassionate Choices
Compassionate Choices
(An Earth Day Rondeau)
Jessica Marie

Look up to the azure sky and see
the way the sun shines, rising fees;
we need to make compassionate choices,
and for the slaughtered, fur and bark, a voice
against fracking, pollution and oil field free!

Start your own aviary and follow honey bees,
landing on nature's beauty, swaying in breeze-
NO MORE MONSANTO! NO DEATH! we rejoice.
Look up to the azure sky and see.

Sail the oceans and watch Japan succeed,
mercury and radiation make colourful fish flee
and to the world Aquariums like Baltimore, a noise
of sustainability, but only if Jessicas and Joyces
and Pauls and Jamies would realize education is key-
look up the azure sky and see the carbon footprints.
