judged
by a cover, perhaps.
Unturned pages
print free,
hidden from view.
The unopened
locked when unread
yet the key is right there--
yours for the taking.

Worlds falter and fall
due to
lack of vision.
'People' unbirthed,
never given
the chance
to breathe. Lives
stolen, erased. Essentially
buried alive
under the dust of
the unread.
