stories and lives
as I come to grips
with who and what I am,
have been and may be.
I am a phoenix:
rising ever above and beyond!

25 Years

Silvered hair,
yet seventy-three years young--
will we make it to twenty years married,
let alone twenty-five?
You'll be eighty-one, I'll be seventy-nine.
We can do that. Right?
Then again,
every day we are together
is purely golden,
let alone silver!
No doubt
in my mind
we'll be together--
stuck
like golden glue
for as long as you'll have me
and as long as I'll have you!
