Fated Humming
a bumble bee song
HELP. HELP
. I’m being chased by bees
and I have allergies.
RUN. RUN,
Somebody recue me please.
Now some of them flew up my pants.
Performing their bumble bee dance,
the stinging began quickly then.
I didn’t bring my epi-pen.
OH. GOD
. Anaphylactic shock
Somebody call the doc.
GASP. GASP
. Plummeting down like a rock.
I can’t catch my laboring breath.
Prophetic account to my death.
The ambulance screams alibis
too late for my rapid demise.
