I felt the same way when I was approaching the one year anniversary of my Mom's death. It was like--How can time be moving farther away from when she was here? I wasn't ready to deal with it either. I was mourning the loss of my mother. It became stark whenever I had the urge to go to the phone and call her about a question I had about a recipe of hers or to share some news with her. I realized all over again she wasn't there.

Things will get better. Thoughts will be filled with the good times and laughter and adventures shared without all the tears. But I know a year was not enough.

I hope that things do get better. With me, it seems like two steps forward and then a step back sometimes, but I am not as fragile as before. I like to believe it's improving day by day with God's grace and help.

Fear and worry are my biggest obstacles, too.

But we look at what we can accomplish when we try and it is encouraging.

Fear is there every day to battle. We keep trying and that's what matters.

I was stressing about my washing machine, but then I tried doing what the manual said and it seemed to work. I ended up cautiously optimistic about it.

Didn't rush into anything, just hoping and praying for guidance from above.

Home Goods is a store I haven't been to in a while. I used to find cow parade cows there.

Dreams, Fears, Heart, Mind

Prompt: "Don't be pushed be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led around by the dreams in your heart." Write about this in your Blog entry today.

I was afraid to write a book and try to get ot published. A nurse I worked with told me you go with more then one publisher. I tried writing, took classes and have 2 published books. I am not Danielle Steel and I will never be famous but I am okay with that. I write her at WDC.

I fear things in the world but I pray to God for help. He is here for us.

I don't have any dreams at this time. I just want to be well and get throught the winter. I like to go out shopping once in awhile. At my nursing job, I had fears. I managed to do a good job. Experience got me through it and I had to believe in my heart that I can do it. I did.

I learned to do scrapbooking and got a Degree in it. Crafts can be hard but you love to do it, you can. Follow your heart and forget your fears.

We will always have fears but we need to let our heart lead us and pray to God and we got this.
