So your leaves are still enjoying the autumn colors. Our leaves have taken a beaten with the heavy winds. The lights flickered a couple times last night. Thankfully the power got back up and kept the heat going. Although, the internet went down for awhile while it rebooted back from the the short interruption in power.

We had quite a bunch of trick or treaters last night. It was cold rainy and very windy. But the kids were happy to be out and about the neighborhood. I love watching those creative costumes on Halloween. The little ones are adorable.

The moon was beautiful. There's something about a November moon with a frosty scent lingering in the air. I guess there will be snow in the not too distant future.

Happy Halloween!

Thankfully the kids will be here passing out candy with me. It gets quite busy in our town.

I have lots of candy. Hersheys Chocolate bars, REESE'S , and non chocolate/non peanut butter ones for those who are allergic. The town set a 5-7 p.m. trick or treat time. But, there's always delays and strays. By 8:00 we shut the lights. Those are usually the repeat visitors and much older "kids."

Covid changed so much. It was to our generations the thing that the Depression was to those who were here before.

I think Mark Twain was jealous of Jane Austen's success. Even though he was famous too, I think he realized that she was the better writer.

Welcome To My Day

My husband went to the Doctor and I went with him to get my Vitamin B12 Shot.

I came home and did laundry.

My uncle is going in for heart surgery next week. My cousin has heart issues.

The government is still on shutdown.

I go to the Dentist tomorrow. I have been having UTI issues. I hope my dilation I had done takes care of things.

I hope things get better for all of us. Winter may not be friendly. We live each day as it comes.
