I work as a Qualified Medication Assistant in mental health. I am married and have a striped gray cat named Tigger. Spring arrives tomorrow--finally. Now if the weather cooperates and keeps the nasty stuff away everyone will feel the joy!

It's been a winter for the books, that's for sure. Not just up North--but we've had some crazy weather here in Florida, too. I've not experienced this in going on 15 years as a snowbird.

I hope you are feeling better soon, and spring finally comes to stay.

I will say, that as much as I ADORE my quiet mornings by myself, it is much more difficult to crawl out of bed when it is cold. Warm, sunny days are definitely the best!

Sunny days are better, but mornings are difficult here, too.

When the sun is out, the world seems less lonely I guess!

Flower child is fine, too. When you were a flower child, I was probably a flower matron.

I used to be a huge fan of gardening. Now I have to contend with flower pots and a couple of raised flower-beds.

Tom was the gardener here. He had a huge vegetable garden at another location. He supplied a lot of vegeys to the local Urban Ministry. I love looking at flowers.

I used to plant tulips, but my back won't cooperate with doing that anymore.

Shopping Day

My cousin and I went out shopping. We went to Kohls. I bought pillows, lavender shoes, a can opener and a soup ladel. I bought makeup at Sephoras. We went to Home Goods. I bought a blanket, pillow cases, summer sheets, a dog for the yard that looks like Toto, goodies, a book lovers package, plates with a blue rose on it and hand soap. I got home and put Toto by my Wizard Of Oz and red shoes decoration outside.

It was 60 Degrees. A nice day. My cousin bought odds and ends. We had a good day together.

Tomorrow, I need to clean house. Are you looking forward to spring and summer?
