Every day is a story. My brother is going to DC today so I am waiting to hear that it went okay. This is in the news and I hope he doesn't get in the middle of something that is out of control. He is probably safer now then he would have been before the National Guard went in to straighten things out.

I wonder if the President of Ukraine is afraid to be in the same place as Putin. For some reason, I don't think he's going to be there, which doesn't seem to make much sense. I hope they find peace is all. Peace for there and peace for Israel and Palestinians. Wouldn't that be nice to have peace for a while?

I've always remembered this horrendous crime and the weird control Manson had over his followers. I'm glad he died alone in prison but sadly he still had a following from prison. That too me is insane how anyone can see him as a leader.

I remember it. I thought that Brad Pitt movie did a good job of turning the tables on the killers. It was a scary time. I remember Manson used the Beatles White Album to try and make trouble. He was trying to create a race war and was a lot like the media is now. I know that Sharon Tate's mother and sister fought to not have any of those horrid people released. But it happened some anyway. Scary time. It makes me wonder what everything means in the end.

Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis was number 1 the year I was born (1956) The book was Old Yeller by Fred Gipson. I have my grandmother's copy of Old Yeller, that she bought in 1956. It's been read and re-read.

I remember the song 16 Ton by Tennessee Ernie Ford, my father loved that song.

That 50s music is more the stuff my brother likes. I bet he liked 16 Tons. I remember Beatles being the first music I really liked enough to buy. Maybe Peter Paul and Mary, too!

Crossings is good, too, since it refers to the school's place at crossroads, and it also suggests other meanings, too.

Every moment in your life. Rather it is a boring moment or a good moment, there is a story to tell. Getting married, getting a new job, a loved one gets sick, birth of a child, yours or a niece. Good news or bad. Something happens every minute for everyone. Boring or exciting. There is a story. Stories are written about bad people. People have fame. They get a story. Writing fictional stories. Maybe you will be a famous writer. Someone will love your story. Every moment something happens. Stories are born every moment. Good or bad. Isn't it nice that we have stories? Life. We all have a life. Good or bad. Life happens. So do stories. Take the good with the bad. Every moment tells a story.
