Bobcats are interesting! I wonder if whoever took the bobcat took Ronald McDonald, too. It's amazing what people do sometimes.

Those Canada fires are horrible when their smoke hovers over some states nearby. It is best to stay inside not breathing in the smoke.

Yes. Some states are starting school on Monday. We did have more of a summer break in the old days. I went to Catholic School. We always began the school year after Labor Day, and ended school about a week ahead of Public Schools.

We are having a couple cooler days here, thankfully.

Growing up, I think we went back to school in September after Labor Day. I heard they started in South Carolina in July. It seems like the school year is starting earlier and earlier. I wonder why because testing doesn't seem to show improvements in test scores about here at least.

It is cooler here. I hope it gets cooler there, too.

A new tractor sounds interesting. Do they have a lot of features like the new cars do or are they pretty much the same as always?

Yes, I agree. Princess Diana had the courage to give other people hope. She was unique for her time in reaching out to others. She inspired so many people and left such a big empty space in the world. I think now that Charles is sick with cancer, he follows her example in reaching out to other cancer patients and comforting them. Catherine does it, too. It's a lovely remembrance of Diana because I don't think the royal family did much of that sort of thing before she inspired them. It's a genuine caring gesture that they make.

This sounds a lot like counting blessings. Scrapbooking is a great way to remember things I did it for a while, but then life got too hectic. Still, it's a lovely way to remember and cherish the good times!

My mother always wore pearls too. I love them because of my Mom. She wore Chanel No. 5 and Pearls. I think she admired Jackie Kennedy too. Lovely entry!

Mascot

When I was in high school, our mascot was a bobcat. I live in Indiana and we had bobcats. I never saw one in the country. The mascot was a taxidermy mascot. He was alive at one time. One high school girl wore a Bobcat suit at intermission. Sadly, someone stoled our mascot. Someone took Ronald McDonald off the his bench in front of McDonald's as well. McDonald's never got him back. We never got the bobcat back. I missed him.

I loved wearing my red Tshirt with a painted Bobcat face on it. I remember seeing a bobcat at a zoo. I ran my finger around the glass and he pressed his body against it. So sweet. I think bobcats are neat. Go Bobcats!
