I think Mark Twain was jealous of Jane Austen's success. Even though he was famous too, I think he realized that she was the better writer.

That hurricane is huge and slow moving over those warm waters. If it hits Jamaica it will be devastating.

My opinion is the corgis should be in charge and not the people. They would be smart enough to reopen the government. Then, everything would work out fine. Corgis would be fair and make the right decisions.

Love the idea of seeing growing calves and little donkeys on your route. Autumn is a time of change, but it is gradual some years. I try and take it one day at a time. Yesterday was a difficult one.

I would rather be kind, but when I was younger being right seemed more important at times. I don't think it is more important than other people's feelings now. If I ever thought that I was wrong.

I want to be kind and forgiving and I realize that compared to my mother, I am not smart at all. Time is a great teacher.

Is It Autumn, Yet?

It is 43 Degrees this morning. It is supposed to be in the 80s again. I guess it isn't autumn, yet.

I do love autumn leaves and all the colors. There is a road by me with woods and the trees are beautiful like New England. I almost forget I live in Indiana.

I am going to enjoy my days. I love autumn but not winter. I do enjoy autumn.
