Women need to have courage. Years ago, women had no rights. Susan B Anthony got women the right to vote. That took courage. Women go to war and do men's jobs. That takes courage. Women need courage to get through life and rising kids. Not backing down. Princess Diana put up with Charles for years. She and her children lived a normal life. She was around Aids problems. She was carrying and loving. It took courage to be a Princess and she was a lady. Women. Don't back down. Stand up for what you believe in. Maybe someday, the right woman will be President.

We do need to live our life. When I was scrapbooking, our instructor said we can't scrapbook every moment of our life. We do have to live it. Scrapbook the great things that happen. Recording our life. It is nice to keep journals about our life. Don't forget to live it and enjoy each moment. Be happy. At the end of the day, write about your day. You lived your day, now write about it and enjoy your life. |

My husband bought home some stuff from Mom's. We have been cleaning out Mom's house since she died. My husband bought home a neat snow globe of an angel reading a book to a deer, sheep, bird and a squirrel. It said Merr Christmas on the globe. I never knew Mom had this. He also bought home some Teddy Bears. I still miss Mom. This helped.
We got Mom's insurance policies all straightened out. It's been 5 months since Mom died.
It was hot today and that didn't feel like Christmas.
This month is almost gone. Soon, summer will be gone. Before we know it, it will be Christmas. Time goes fast. I hang onto good memories.

We got rain this morning. I went to Church. My friend from Mississippi is still here. We are going to spend the day together next week.
A new week. I hope it will be a good one. I need to drop off papers at the bank.
I did laundry. Some days, I feel better then others. I try to live each day as it comes.

I hope to get a few things done this summer. Going to Lake Michigan.

Okay. No special plans. It is supposed to rain. I am still writing for my BCOF Bucket Blog of traveling in the United States.
I am reading a Guideposts Book about peace in the presence of God. It is one of my mother's books.
I hope to go to Church Sunday.
I have laundry to do this weekend. Not very exciting. What are your plans? |

Jackie. She was beautiful and always wore pearls. I love pearls. I will wear my peace sign necklaces with long pearls. I wear a cross necklace with pearls. I love wearing a short strand of pearls and longer pearls with it. Pearls are decorative and says I've arrived. Dainty and delicate. Innocent. Pearls are sophisticated. Pearls make you feel dressed up. I love pearls. I feel special when I wear them. I have a lot of pearls. My mother loved pearls and taught me to dress her. I wear pearls for her and me. I am thankful for pearls. |

Prompt: How do you find relief when you feel overwhelmed?
I talk to friends and family about things. I watch my favorite shows and I read. I pray. I find a way to get the problem solved. A relaxing, gentle rain helps but we all know it doesn't rain on que. Doing writing helps. Us writers all know this. Going shopping puts me in a good mood and brightens my spirits. This is how I find relief. |

My kitty Bella is sweet, sleeps with me when I first go to bed. She is distant when she chooses to be. She grooms constantly. She was a lot of company in the day when I worked midnights. Bella was my best friend. She loves me. I feed her, give her a good home and toys. She wants for nothing. I love cats and animals more then people. Love me, love my cat. |

Prompt: Joy asked about our thoughts on empathy.
Empathy. We feel for others and what they go through. A friend lost her baby years ago and I wanted to be there for her but all I could do was cry. I feel sorry for the homeless, everyone going through floods, fires, the wars overseas. I feel for the abused animals and wish I could make a difference. I am very sensitive and caring. I pray God will make things better for everyone. Empathy. I have a lot of that. |

Megan, that you had a direct hit from the Vietnam war.! It was an awful war and a terrible time for those who went to fight in it. In fact, whether we were aware of it or not, we were all fighting in it.
